We are delighted to announce that our Branch Administrator Ellie Wayper has recently been awarded the Associate Level (AREC) Accreditation as testament to her commitment to her career at THE Agency (Recruitment) Limited and the REC and its Code of Professional Practice.

THE REC Code of Professional Practice creates a clear framework of values and principles that support and underpin the meaning of the REC membership.

Adherence to the Code actively demonstrates our commitment to professional and ethical recruitment. The Code focuses on outcomes and the impact of our (agencies’) conduct on others whilst conducting our (their) day to day activities.

Members must observe the highest principles of ethics, equity, integrity, professional conduct and fair practice in dealing with others and will conduct their business in a manner deigned to enhance the operation, image and reputation of the

recruitment industry and REC Members. The REC therefore offers its Members guidance and legal advice and training to help them achieve these standards.

There are 10 Principles that form the Code of Professional Practice and these range from respect for our laws, for honesty and transparency, for work relationships, diversity, safety, professional knowledge, for our candidates and temporary workers, for confidentiality and ethical international recruitment. Within the 10 Principles there are strict guidelines within these areas to ensure that all the Members uphold the mission and values of the REC.

Our Managing Director Kim Barnes – Evans who has been a proud member of the REC for almost 30 years is proud to carry the Fellowship status and prides herself in following the REC Code of Professional Practice in all of her business dealings on a day to day basis.

Additionally, THE Agency is also a Corporate Member of the REC which means that we are required to undergo a bi-annual compliance test to ensure that awareness and adherence is still prevalent within the business.

Kim says “ The REC is our governing body and provides us (it’s Members) with a solid foundation on which to operate our (their) business to give both candidates and clients peace of mind that they are working with a reputable agency who values and respects their craft within the recruitment sector.  All of our staff are REC accredited and we are delighted that Ellie has recently become an Associate of the REC. Whilst very much at the beginning of her career within the recruitment sector, Ellie is delighted to be embracing the opportunities that both the REC and THE Agency can offer her in taking her career to the next level. Congratulations Ellie!”
