Every two years, we undergo an REC Compliance Test to ensure that we understand the REC’s Code of Professional Practice and relevant legislation, particularly the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 and amendments (the Conduct Regulations). But what does this mean for our clients and candidates?
The REC Code of Professional Practice provides a series of ten basic principles, which fundamental to how we conduct ourselves and our business at THE Agency. They cover crucial areas:
Adhering to these principles actively demonstrates our commitment to professional and ethical recruitment. It is a structure that we use to maintain a consistently high standard and excellent quality of service to our clients and candidates.
Those of you that know us well will recognise key building blocks in THE Agency’s ethos within these practices, such as how we pride ourselves on our honest and transparent approach with candidates and clients alike. We will always be candid and open with those that we work with. We make no false promises, and our feedback and advice always aims to be constructive, insightful and realistic.
The REC Code of Practice, and our compliance with it, demonstrates how THE Agency is, first and foremost, about working with people. It isn’t a business that’s focused solely on numbers and targets, and we genuinely care about finding the right fit for clients and candidates alike.
As we move into 2019, we are looking forward to continuing to demonstrate our commitment to our Industry and the wonderful people that we meet along the way. Our new and existing Clients and Candidates help us make THE Agency a successful and respected business. A place where Talented People Meet.
