Pay: £8.72 – £8.86 per hour

Our prestigious client urgently requires temporary patient advisors to work in their booking centre in Huddersfield, HD2. The positions are to start as soon as possible until 31st March 2021.

Our client is looking to recruit to cover the following shifts based in their Huddersfield office:


Monday to Friday

  • 9am to 6pm x 2
  • 10am to 4.30pm x 1
  • 2pm to 8pm x 1


  • 8am to 2pm x 1

Saturday to Sunday

  • 9am to 6pm x 1
  • 8am to 2pm - 1



Monday to Friday

  • 30pm to 12am x 1

Saturday to Sunday

  • 6pm to 12am x 1


As a Patient Advisor, you will be:

  • Part of a virtual multidisciplinary team, receiving incoming telephone calls and accurately inputting the caller information onto the system
  • Responsible for the administration related to admission and discharge of a patient into the virtual ward
  • You will be a key member of the virtual ward team and will contribute to the delivery of a quality service and maintenance of quality standards


Duties Include:

  • Receiving incoming calls, providing excellent customer care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a holistic approach to patient care
  • Assist the patient through the administrative tasks of admission and discharge from the ward, to include ensuring the patient is able to effectively use the equipment and understands the process for submitting  readings
  • Deal with queries into the service, to include transferring to the patient co-ordinator or manager if necessary
  • Record accurately the demographic details of the caller, and a brief description of the reason for their call, onto the system

About You:
You will be a team player, able to work from your own initiative with strong communication skills and an empathetic nature.

Candidates Must Have:

  • Experience of working in a busy, public-facing environment
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information and record keeping with good computer skills
  • Highly developed communication skills – verbal, written and telephone, with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team to problem solve and deal with challenging situations
