Role: Our client is an extremely well established and highly renowned Huddersfield based business operating worldwide to offer its clients unrivalled expertise and produce for their own brand products. Innovative, forward thinking and always seeking new and exciting ways to push the boundaries within their field, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their busy team. On a day to day basis you will be office based at Huddersfield, but you will support a London based salesperson with their day to day enquiries and you will oversee the sales order process on their behalf.
You will be in regular contact with your remotely based colleague by phone and email regarding the day to day sales enquiries ensuring that communication and correspondence is correct, you will be preparing quotations and documentation accurately and keeping paperwork organised and up to date.
Additionally, you will be dealing with both clients and suppliers over the phone and by email and will then maintain and update sales and customer records.
You will also be responsible for updating the online project management system to share order progress with the team and updating the sales margin reports. In addition to this you will be responsible for utilising the tools available to check accounting information to ensure that business decisions made between yourself and the London based salesperson are viable and in line with company policy and will result in a good outcome for the business.
This role also requires you to regularly check product samples and orders are in line with order requirements and create basic pro forma invoices and carry out general administrative duties to support yourself and the wider team including dealing with the post and answering the phones.
This role is to start immediately, and interviews will take place locally in Huddersfield once the short listed candidates have been selected by THE Agency.
