Our well established and reputable client is looking for a part time permanent Lettings Negotiator for their offices in Cleckheaton. Ideally you will be experienced within this area of the property sector, however candidates with the appropriate transferable skills and desire to move into the Lettings sector may be considered.
The role is demanding, fast paced and requires a candidate who is able to deal with a hectic and diverse range of customer enquires/queries and problems simultaneously. You will be looking after a very large client portfolio and will be highly organised, professional and be able to liaise with people confidently and comfortably at all levels.
Initially the role will involve:
- Dealing with Landlords and tenants via the telephone or in person in the office
- Dealing with repairs and maintenance of properties
- Drawing up tenancy agreements
- Arranging and following up on property visits
- Speaking to utility companies
- Preparing property lists and updating window displays
- Applying for referencing for prospective tenants
- Accepting rents and issuing receipts
- General office duties
When fully trained up then a specific job role will be given incorporating one or more of the above, however initially you will be trained across all aspects of the office responsibilities and daily tasks. You are required to be flexible and adaptable to ensure that all areas of the business are supported on a daily basis.
Our client requires a candidate who is resilient, hardworking, can adapt to different situations quickly and efficiently and can work on their own initiative but at the same time work closely with colleagues to provide both the client and the customer with an excellent customer experience.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 11.00am – 5.30pm and flexibility to cover for occasional Saturdays.
