Part-Time Accounts Administrator

Pay: Circa £12.00 per hour

We are currently working on this fantastic opportunity to join one of our highly respected local businesses. The role encompasses all activities in the finance administration office and requires a resolute and motivated individual who is capable of working on their own initiative.

 

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of the importance of following process, skilled in time management, and must demonstrate strong administration skills.

 

You will be responsible for the following duties

  • Managing the accounts inbox
  • Organising, and prioritising invoices, remittances, and statements
  • Purchase invoice receipts
  • Matching invoices to purchase order operating system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Advising and resolving invoice queries, and escalating where appropriate
  • Working across several different accounts and currencies
  • Progressing orders and general filing
  • Reception duties – directing incoming calls and welcoming visitors

 

Experience required:

  • Previous finance administration experience is ESSENTIAL for this role
  • A willingness and genuine interest in working with numbers / accounts
  • Accurate data entry skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office packages, in particular MS Excel
  • Self-starter with good initiative
  • Positive can-do attitude

This role is a part-time position and is ideal for someone looking to work 3 days per week.  Hours are also flexible to suit the right candidate.
