Role: Our prestigious Client is a UK owned and managed business with nearly 80 years of product history. They produce goods principally for the UK Retail markets and over the last 5 years, this multimillion-pound business has tripled in size and has built up an enviable reputation for delivering a high-quality service to a broad spectrum of customers.
Now seeking an IT Support Engineer who will be working in a small team to manage, implement and maintain IT systems within this fast-paced company. Reporting into the Head of IT, this position will be based in Redditch but will require some travel at times in order to be in the Leeds Office
Duties will include:
- Second level IT support across two UK sites in Leeds and Redditch
- First point of contact for all IT matters at the Redditch site
- Escalation point for IT issues to within IT team
- Administration and maintaining a number of IT systems and a range of applications
- Working within the company on general infrastructure issues and new projects
- Problem solving across full range of IT issues
- Working with 3rd party suppliers
- General IT responsibilities
- Hardware installation and maintenance
- Network configuration and maintenance
- Software maintenance and troubleshooting
- Liaison with third party software providers
- Willingness to step up and cover at a more senior level and progress any issues
- Experience working with Sage would be an advantage
