Our prestigious client offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Enquiry Advisor to work as part of the team, ensuring that all their clients receive a high level of service, dealing with quotation handling and creation whilst ensuring an excellent level of customer service and attention to detail is adhered to.  Responding to internal and external customer requirements and balancing this with the company’s commercial objective of maintaining and improving sales margin and volumes by the use of open questioning, ensuring buying signals are spotted and capitalised on, securing sales by the appropriate use of closing techniques.

Main responsibilities and tasks will be as follows: -

  • Co-ordinating all customer and supplier liaison (both written and verbal) regarding new sales enquiries to ensure the accurate and efficient creation of nonstandard products and quotations to meet customer requirements
  • Satisfying the needs of both internal and external customers efficiently whilst prioritising workload in terms of commercial potential and in consideration of the company’s desire to reduce overall response times
  • Responsibility to apply sales margins to all nonstandard items, and to determine appropriate levels of discount on standard items
  • Liaising with relevant sales personnel regarding quotation follow up’s
  • Working to time schedules set by the Sales & Marketing Director
  • Reporting factual and accurate information on quotations to the external sales force and senior management
  • Asking open-ended questions to determine customer needs and ensuring buying signals are spotted and capitalised on
  • Ensuring objections are overcome in a positive and respectful manner
  • Formulating clear objectives prior to each call to ensure all communication is effective and having business needs in mind
  • Good time management is observed throughout the call
  • Ensuring that all company policies are adhered to within the scope or your role
  • Carrying out other ad hoc duties that might be required in the company’s interest
  • Compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety policy including reporting all risks/issues to direct supervisor/manager

About You:
You will be a friendly team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to spot buying signals from customers.
