Role: This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing/Ecommerce Co-ordinator to join this well-established, fast paced business based in BD17.
On a day to day basis, you will co-ordinate and manage the Company’s on-line and digital media programmes, including search engine optimisation (“SEO”), Pay Per Click (“PPC”) and other paid search campaigns, affiliate marketing and electronic mail programmes.
You will segment their online customer base to enable more effective target marketing and increase e -commerce sales using tools such as Google Analytics. Additionally, you will develop the website to improve customer experience and sales through web merchandising, cross sales/up sales and the evolution of online presence and web offer.
You will also contribute to the development of their wider database marketing activity and offline marketing communications and report on digital marketing performance.
In conjunction with the Marketing Manager and any third party agencies or consultants, you will determine the strategy for Pay Per Click advertising such as ‘Google AdWords’ and the ongoing evaluation and reporting of such campaigns utilising various analysis tools including ‘Google Analytics’.
Also, maintaining the marketing activity calendar to co-ordinate marketing activity and in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and any third party agencies or consultants, implement effective search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies and demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of how search engine rankings work and the implications for web site construction.
You will also be involved in the development and co-ordination of effective affiliate marketing programmes and the strategic acquisition of incoming links to their website. Also working with the Marketing Manager and the Product Marketing Team and where appropriate external service providers, the effective implementation of email campaigns and the development of continuous improvement to conversion metrics.
You will also cost effectively growing brand awareness online across both new and core customer groups through all digital marketing channels and the creation and management of promotional codes. You will be segmenting the online customer base to enable more effective target marketing and increase e-commerce sales using tools such as Google Analytics and in conjunction with the Marketing Campaigns Co-Ordinator, Marketing Analyst and Marketing Manager, you will utilise the Company’s database to create targeted e-commerce or email campaigns.
Developing the website to improve customer experience and sales through web merchandising, cross sells/ upsells and evolution of their online presence and web offer.
You will become a champion of the e-commerce channel to facilitate the development and evolution of the webstore and online operations and working with the product marketing team, merchandise the Company’s products on the website to maximise sales.
Proactively managing the website offering and work with other departments on such as products becoming out of stock, changing lead times and the suggestion of alternative product options to minimise customer dissatisfaction and complaints.
You will be able to utilise the website’s functionality to link products together to increase sales through “upsells” or “cross sells”, monitor and manage any third party customer review sites such as Feefo and suggest improvements to site look or functionality to improve the customer experience. Also managing the ongoing conversion rate optimisation on the website and design and co-ordinate A/B testing and contribute to the development of our wider database marketing activity and offline marketing communications.
You will also have input into the wider marketing activities of the Company and have the creation and management of a comprehensive competitor analysis programme, report on digital marketing performance and monitor, analyse and report on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s) relating to e-commerce activities. And provide insight into web performance and suggest opportunities for increased sales.
