This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our highly sought-after clients who are looking for a Digital Marketing Co-ordinator to join their busy team.

Our client is looking for a candidate to oversee the online marketing strategy. The ideal candidate must be able to plan and execute the digital marketing campaigns.  This will include designing, maintaining, and creating content for all the social media platforms and the website.  They will also work closely with the SEO team to form strategies and campaigns. In addition, the candidate will support the marketing team and may need to perform other marketing duties within the department. They will be working in a small team under the direction of the Marketing Director.

The day to day responsibilities are:

  • Trend research, and regularly look at competitor activity, keep abreast of new social medial sites and trends
  • Content planning with the team
  • Write, deign, and create engaging online content, in line with marketing plans
  • Manage social media platforms daily; Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn, posting six days a week, Monday to Saturday
  • Hootsuite – scheduling posts a month in advance. Selecting the imagery and writing the copy for each post
  • Manage multiple brand social media accounts
  • Create and write trade and consumer newsletters, twice a month, in line with the content plan
  • Creating and write blogs and mood boards to post on the website, twice a month, in line with content plan
  • Update the website news page and any business news, as and when required
  • Mood boards and flat lays to be created in the studio for social media and blogs
  • Increase traffic and engagement across all online accounts
  • Tracking social media following, with the help of external SEO team
  • Liaising with external PR company
  • Proofreading monthly press releases and sending any feedback or amends
  • Sending imagery for direct PR requests
  • Additional copywriting – descriptive text for new product launches, brochures, and website

Candidates Must Have:

  • Previous experience within digital marketing is essential
  • Previous online marketing, social media and copywriting experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision as necessary
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as being organised and proficient in Microsoft Office and design programmes, such as Photoshop
  • Able to prioritise your workload and be a great team player

Benefits of working for our client include:

The hours of work are Monday and Tuesday 8.30am – 5.00pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm. Each day you will also have ½ hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Our client offers free parking and 25 days holiday plus stats.
