Customer Service Co-ordinator

Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Customer Service and Sales team for a Customer Service C-ordinator. As part of the team, you will work to ensure the customer’s requirements are supported to a high standard, making sure the area runs smoothly and efficiently.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that customers receive their orders on time and in full. You will work closely with customers, updating them on product supply whilst also liaising with operations and Logistics providers. This is a critical role to ensure customers are kept updated and their requirements can realistically be met. You will provide an important link between commercial and supply chain.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer communication – shortages/deliveries/order amendments
  • Work Closely with Logistics Providers regarding Orders / Stocks
  • Work closely with the Order Processing Team
  • Monitor customer service levels
  • Ongoing monitoring of Customer stock trackers / orders
  • Process orders where necessary
  • Download Retailer EPOS x 7 and transfer into Excel Spreadsheets
  • Commercial Invoices
  • Production plan upload

About You:
You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels with Customers and internal colleagues.

Our client is looking for candidates with a passion for providing excellent service, and putting customers first.

Candidates Must Have:

  • Experience in a similar role – working with major multiples
  • Excel – Advanced level
  • Supply Chain knowledge and understanding
  • A big part of this role will be problem solving, so you must have the confidence to challenge existing processes where needed
  • Ability to operate and contribute within a strong team environment
  • Good time management skills and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • IT Systems – experience of Sage 200 is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of Warehouse Management Systems would be preferred
