Credit Insurance Administrator

Location: Bradford, BD12

Pay: £25-27,000.00pa DOE

Our local client is seeking a Credit Insurance Administrator to join their friendly team to provide an administrative service for the credit insurance department. You will be working in a team of 6.

Duties include:

  • Monitor commission from insurers
  • Manage, allocate, authorise, and issue payment to partner/introducing brokers
  • Support Directors/Account Executives and other Account Handlers
  • Provide a service to existing and prospective clients
  • Responding to requests, queries and problems regarding policy terms and conditions, and charges
  • Processing and monitoring credit limit applications using various insurers on-line systems and by telephone
  • Negotiating with insurers on any policy matter
  • Notifying clients of renewal dates and their subsequent obligations
  • Administering and maintaining client information and records on computer systems
  • Chasing insurers for renewal terms and new business indications
  • Contacting clients in writing or by telephone to obtain or impart information
  • Providing service and support by preparing new business reports, spreadsheets, and other documents for client presentations
  • Assisting with claims processing
  • Notifying account executives of imminent renewals
  • Setting up and maintain policy records
  • Liaising and correspond with insurers
  • Maintaining the diary system
  • Allocating correct commission
  • Preparing statement of transactions
  • Authorising payment
  • Ensuring payment is only made against commission received
  • Monitoring incoming remittance to ensure payment from each insurer
  • Checking each remittance for correct commission amount
  • Ensuring commission is received for each client
  • Communicating with each insurer regarding incorrect/ non receipt of commission
  • Processing debit/credit notes for Bradford, Falkirk, and Manchester offices
  • Completing general correspondence to/from clients and insurers
  • Maintaining and update information systems
  • Liaising with other departments where necessary

About You:
You will work collaboratively as part of a team of 6 Support Administrators.

Candidates Must Have:

  • Previous customer service experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Be IT Literate
  • Possess excellent numeracy skills
  • Time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Credit Insurance Account Handling experience is DESIRABLE
