Administration Assistant – Purchasing Dept.

Role:
We are currently working on this excellent opportunity to join one of our highly respected local businesses.  Our client is looking for an Administration Assistant to join their hard working, and friendly purchasing/Inventory team.

This role offers excellent opportunity to develop and grow within the business and would suit someone looking to start a career within their business.

On a day-to-day basis the role will involve the following: 

  • Working alongside and supporting the team of purchasing / inventory controllers
  • Data entry, updating stock levels on the system for thousands of products
  • Taking calls and messages for the purchasing team
  • Assisting the team with admin support for the plans and reports
  • Liaising with internal and external colleagues

About You:
Our client is looking for someone who has the drive and commitment to make this a career within their business.

Candidates Must Have:

  • Strong MS Office experience is required, particularly MS Excel
  • Minimum of Grade C/4 in Maths and English
  • The drive and commitment to make this a career is ESSENTIAL
  • PLEASE NOTE: You will need to be a car driver to apply for this position

Hours of work are either, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch or 9am to 5pm with ½ hour lunch.
