Temporary Customer Service / Administrator x 3

Our Client is looking to recruit three experienced Temporary Customer Service / Administrators who can offer support for at least 8 weeks.

You will be responsible for liaising with customers who have experienced issues such as flooding from sewer networks. You will be using our client’s corporate systems to review the activity carried out by the field teams to resolve problems reported by the customer.  You will need to be able to understand the feedback provided by the field teams, review next steps and update the customer by telephone or text message.

Our client will provide a basic level of training initially on their systems and understanding waste network.  It is essential that you have an appreciation of and ability to provide a great customer service.  You will also need good attention to detail and be computer literate as you will need to extract information from their different corporate systems.

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A professional telephone manner with strong interpersonal skills
  • Be flexible and possess a compassionate and understanding attitude
  • Good numeracy, with good problem-solving skills
  • IT literate – must be confident using several windows-based systems simultaneously
  • A ‘can do’ attitude, adaptable and flexible to business needs
  • Previous experience in a fast paced and demanding customer service environment, ideally contact centre
  • The desire to develop and progress
  • Willingness to listen to customers and deal efficiently and effectively with queries, and adapt to each customer’s needs and requirements
  • Flexibility to work with different situations, (no two calls will be the same)
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
  • An empathetic, compassionate and understanding attitude
  • Process driven have a strong attention to detail
  • Have first class communication skills

You will have excellent MS Office, including Word and Excel to Intermediate level, a strong administrative background and the ability to work in a team or on your own initiative.

Working a 37-hour week – Monday to Friday, this role offers free parking, subsidised canteen and a lovely working environment/culture.
