Our Client is looking to recruit two experienced Temporary Customer Service/ Administrators who can offer support for at least 8 weeks. Successful candidates will be provided with a basic level of training on the client’s systems, and understanding the waste network.

This is a full-time role with a 37-hour week, Monday – Friday, offering free parking, subsidised canteen and a lovely working environment/culture.

Day-to-day responsibilities for this role include:

  • Liaising with customers who have experienced issues such as flooding from sewer networks whilst providing great customer service
  • Using client’s corporate systems to review the activity carried out by the field teams to resolve problems reported by the customer
  • Understanding the feedback provided by the field teams, review next steps and update the customer by telephone or text message
  • Extracting information from different corporate systems to support the client and customers

About you

Ideal candidates will have a desire to develop and progress, with a willingness to listen to customers and deal efficiently and effectively with queries, adapt to each customer’s needs and requirements and work flexibly with a good use of initiative as no two calls will be the same.

Candidates must have:

  • Previous experience in a fast paced and demanding customer service environment, ideally contact centre
  • A strong administrative background
  • Good IT literacy, particularly knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • The ability to have several windows-based systems running simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work in a team or on your own initiative
  • A professional telephone manner with strong interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, flexible and understanding attitude
