Our Client is currently looking for a dynamic new team member to join their very busy and well-established team to ensure appropriately qualified, trained and experienced staff resources are rostered in time for the effective and efficient provision of services. Previous experience working as a Resourcer would be ideal, however our Client is willing to look at other candidates who may have come from a busy sales or customer services background.

On a day to day basis you will be required to ensure appropriately qualified, trained and experienced staff resources are rostered in time for the effective and efficient provision of services in line with the area and contact centre staffing plans.

You will be responsible for dealing with incoming queries as well as making outbound calls to employed & sessional staff and recruitment agencies. This will require you to negotiate and influence others whilst providing realistic solutions. You will need to deal with queries in a professional, timely and efficient manner ensuring excellent customer service and swift problem resolution at all times. You must also be able to negotiate and influence others whilst providing realistic solutions. An ability to grasp new systems and procedures is essential, as you will need you to be able to adapt to real time changing situations.

You will organise appropriate rota cover for all in-hours services as required – ensuring that all doctor, nurse and staff availabilities are added to the database. Additionally, you will administer manual confirmations as and when required (for clinicians who do not use or cannot access the WEB). You will also actively encourage and promote WEB access to all clinical and non-clinical staff and manage late cancellations.

On a day to day basis you will also liaise with the Operations staff to give information of the up to date situation on a daily basis of sessions covered and dealing with any problems relating to the in-hours rota. Also liaising with locality administration staff to support on non-clinical and clinical rota fill as and when required for in-hours sessions. You will then be required to actively and clearly report any issues / problems relating to the rota database using identified reporting processes as agreed with the workforce manager.

There will also be additional tasks in relation to maintaining databases and contacting GP’s for certificate renewals, liaising with area teams, adjusting payments, liaising with locum agencies and process timesheets and liaise with finance for payment and arrange training for agency locums

The ideal candidate will have the ability to problem solve, be able to work flexibly within agreed working hours at the discretion of the management team and occasionally working outside contracted hours to meet business needs.  You will be able to plan and prioritise workload which can be unpredictable and work on own initiative with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.  In terms of experience, you will have a strong background in negotiation; whether this is sales, customer complaints, debt collection etc.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with ½ hour for lunch – 37.5 hours per week. Free parking and modern offices. The position is to start straight away
