Our locally based manufacturing client is looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant to cover maternity for the next nine months. The successful candidate would start as soon as possible.

The job requires the candidate to work three days per week, of which they can be flexible. Ideally, the candidate would work 9.15am – 2.45pm, but this can be negotiated.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant include:

  • Making outbound calls to an existing client base
  • Looking after customers by advising them of new products
  • Updating the company database
  • Sending out mailshots (Direct Mail and E-Shots)
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Occasionally, dealing with rejection

About you

The ideal candidate for the Marketing Assistant role will have experience working in a busy customer services environment.

Our client is looking for a very confident, tenacious and enthusiastic candidate who can commit to the duration of the role.

Candidates must have:

  • A confident telephone manner and overall excellent communication skills
  • The ability to confidently deal with people at all levels
  • Strong customer service skills and experience
  • Strong organisation skills
  • A keen eye for attention to detail
