Our prestigious Client are award-winning market leaders within their sector. This is an exciting time to join our Client, who have ambitious growth plans for the future, and an impressive portfolio of work. The Sales team is set to expand, and with this, the Sales team is growing to meet demands and keep up with their global network.

They are looking for a driven and ambitious Account Manager who will seek not simply to hit their targets, but to exceed them. Someone with tenacity, charisma and drive is ideal for this role. With the anticipated growth of the company, the Account Manager will also need to be adaptable, flexible and committed.

The basic salary for this role is £22,000, with an OTE of £40,000 (uncapped). The working hours are Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 5:00pm, and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm. Because this company has a global client base, you may occasionally need to work outside of standard hours.

The role

  • Maintain and develop the agency network & existing client base and to deal with all queries
  • Carry out project training with agency network
  • Monitor sales forecasting to ensure correct and progressing
  • Working towards and hitting set sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Liaising with other sites/departments within the company
  • Reporting weekly and monthly to the Sales Manager
  • Communicating with external agencies regarding sales pipelines and existing sales
  • Attending site visits with agents and clients
  • Speaking with new company leads to generate new partners and business opportunities
  • Prospecting new agents to join the network to further increase sales and meet targets
  • To continuously look at improving the client experience
  • To be responsible for periodic client updates
  • To arrange and organise client days and external events aimed at supporting our clients and driving new business
  • To contact existing clients with new opportunities and to discuss what new purchase opportunities we have available

About you

If you hail from a strong Sales background and have excellent customer service skills and experience, this could be an ideal new venture for you. The ideal Account Manager will be bright and articulate with a great rapport with clients and customers. You would be joining a vibrant office of likeminded people and have plenty opportunities for growth and development moving forward as the company expands.

Candidates must have:

  • Proven track record of successful sales experience
  • A full, clean, driving licence is essential
  • Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
  • To be able to adapt to changing circumstances and not afraid of change
  • Must be a team player with high level communication skills
  • B2C and B2B sales experience is essential
  • Experience in a client focused and office environment is essential
  • Confidence working with clients both telephone and face to face
  • Great organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (able to create reports using excel)
