Five Years Old and Counting

2011 sees THE Agency (Recruitment) Limited enjoying its fifth year in business, however that’s not to say that we only have five years experience under our belt.

THE Agency’s  founder, Managing Director and principal consultant; Kim Barnes-Evans FIRP, utilises her extensive experience within the recruitment sector for the benefit of the company’s clients and candidates. It is this knowledge that underpins the whole ethos, of how THE Agency works as a business and what we do for people.

Kim is a dedicated recruitment professional with Fellowship status of the REC (The Recruitment and Employment Confederation) – the recruitment industry’s governing body and is deemed to be a pivotal asset to our business as a result of her knowledge and experience.

Wealth of Knowledge

This wealth of knowledge, spans over 20 years in the industry and includes a successful career with an international recruitment business, before she began working with a London based agency where her portfolio of clients included prestigious accounts with The Carphone Warehouse, Virgin Records and the BBC to name but a few blue-chip brands.

In the early noughties Kim returned to her Yorkshire roots, where she initially established her first recruitment agency in the region before selling it and then founding in 2006; THE Agency (Recruitment) Limited in the centrally located town of Cleckheaton in West Yorkshire which is where we continue to operate from today.

The Vision

Here at THE Agency we specialise in the recruitment and placement of commercial office staff (both temporary and permanent roles) for employers located along the M62 corridor.

Our business has a vision that is twofold and being in the ‘people business’ is, as you can imagine; centered around the two types of people that we work with;

For our Clients we aim to operate as an extension of their company by providing an outsourced HR function. We do this by getting to know the culture of our client’s organisation, its people and the human resourcing pressures that they are under in order to deliver a bespoke sourcing and placement service to them that goes beyond their short-term recruitment needs.

For our Candidates we strive to be the first and preferred choice for them when it comes to choosing a recruitment service for their next career move or job placement. We aim to build loyalty with our temporary staff and a bespoke service to those looking for permanent work. In return we offer an honest, open and confidential service as well as great pay and working conditions for our temps.
