Our "one in a million" PA Catherine Smith is without doubt the administrative nucleus of our business. Her infectious "can do" attitude never fails and with 2 busy consultants to support, her day is never dull!
Due to the downturn in the market Lisa was faced with a redundancy situation late last year and decided to seek alternative work with a smaller recruitment business. At the start of 2009, Lisa approached THE Agency and has been with us ever since! Initially temping for one of THE Agency’s major clients, Lisa is now managing and overseeing this account on a day to day basis and prides herself in being able to offer temporary workers first hand knowledge of the roles that she is recruiting for. With a natural talent for service delivery, Lisa is a huge asset to our business and has played an integral role in its ongoing success even during one of the worst recessions this century. Having been made redundant from a successful career in publishing, Lisa ‘stumbled’ into recruitment over 10 years ago. Initially tasked with nurturing and developing a specialist division for an international recruitment agency Lisa was subsequently head hunted to manage 3 of the largest ‘on-site’ national accounts in the UK - Mars, Procter &Gamble and Johnson & Johnson across the North of England.Additionally as Corporate Members of the REC, THE Agency prides itself on it's commitment to the recruitment industry and can assure both candidates and clients that their work ethics, principles and quality processes are backed by "the voice" of the industry that they are so passionate about.
