Our prestigious client seeks a talented and experienced administrator to join their lively yet conscientious team. The main area of the role will be to maintain the various aspects of unit trust settlement administration in a timely, accurate and efficient manner and in line with regulatory requirements. You will also carry out/oversee the following areas for compliance, completeness and accuracy:

• Arranging timely, accurate payments of unit trust repurchase requests
• Provide information to investors/IFA’s on request
• Resolve complaints and solve problems on behalf of investors/IFA.
• Assisting the Manager with Dealing Reviews and Compliance Visits
• Liaise with the Manager and Assistant Manager to bring about positive change within the department
• Checking incoming post to ascertain correct settlement dates
• Chasing Investors for renunciation details to enable settlement to be made
• Liaising with the accounts department
• Communicating on a regular basis with the compliance department
• Administrating deceased accounts

Our client seeks candidates with a very strong administrative and customer services background who can demonstrate a keen eye for detail, an excellent telephone manner, the ability to work under pressure and to very strict deadlines. Good time management ability is also essential as is the ability to deal with repetitive work at times. You will also have an excellent command of the English language as a high proportion of the role will involve writing letters to Solicitors and clients on a regular basis. The ability to communicate at all levels is paramount, together with strong team player skills and the ability to work unsupervised.

It would be hugely beneficial if you had a banking or investments background, however this is not essential. Please note that successful candidates will be expected to study for the IOC qualifications during their first 3 months with the company – this is a compulsory requirement.
